Pekara Dubravica is a small chain of Zagreb baked goods and sandwiches. Fighting off our second day of jet lag, Chris and I stopped for a 6am shared snack before breakfast. This yummy thing is a cross between a pretzel, a flaky puff pastry and a croissant, and I believe it to be unique to this region as it is filled with some kind of sour cheese-like cream.
Salty, savory goodness. Total for two cappuccinos and the Kukuruzni was US $2.53 (the yummy pastry thing was 71 cents).
